Gift cards are available for purchase in $20, $50, $100, and blank denominations. Most clubs seem to order $100’s. The blanks are worth whatever you would like them to be, eg: if someone wants one for $400. We would put on that amount. When you use them at the store, they will just have a declining balance greater than $10.

Fundraising for your club or school can be easy with the Askew’s Gift Card program

The Club (or school) purchases Askew’s Gift Cards in large quantities (ie: $20 - $50 Gift Cards), and then sells them at face value to their members. The members can purchase groceries at any of the Askew’s Foods stores in Salmon Arm, Armstrong, Enderby, or Sicamous, and use the gift cards to pay for their groceries. 

The Club makes money by receiving a discount on the Gift Card purchase.  The Discounts are as follows: 

  • 5% discount on orders $500 - $2,499

  • 6% discount on orders $2,500 - $4,999

  • 7% discount on orders $5,000 or greater

Please ensure your members issue a receipt containing your Club’s name and a contact phone number if accepting payment before delivering the gift cards.

how to order

  1. Phone Askew’s Head Office (250-832-2668) or your local store to place your order a few days in advance, to ensure Gift Cards are made up and ready for you to pick up.

  2. Write a cheque from the club, made payable to “Askew’s Foods,” at the time of pick up for the discounted amount. For example, on a $1,000 order, the Club pays $950 ($1000 – 5% of $1000), thus making $50.00. On a $5,000 order, the Club pays $4,650.00 ($5,000 – 7% of $5,000), thus making $350.00!
